Donald Trump First Speech After Attack Says God Was on My Side During Assassination Attempt


Donald Trump’s speech: Former US President Donald Trump addressed the crowd for the first time after the deadly attack on him. He said that he will win the presidential election in November with a huge margin. Trump attended the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday (July 19). Trump officially accepted the presidential nomination from the Republican Party. During this, he also targeted President Joe Biden fiercely.

Donald Trump said, “Four months from today we will have a great victory.” He vowed that he would be the president for the whole of America and not just for half the country. In the National Convention, Trump talked about that scary moment while referring to the attack on him. He said that there was blood flowing all around, but somewhere I felt safe because God was with me. Thomas Matthews Crooks, the man who attacked Trump, was killed on the spot by the Secret Service.

“If I had not moved my head at the last moment, the assassin’s bullet would have missed the mark and I would not be with you tonight,” the former president said. “I should not be here today. Trump thanked the Secret Service agents

Trump said, “I am in the race to become the President of the whole of America, not half of America, because there is no victory in winning half of America.” The former President also thanked the Secret Service agents, who immediately came on stage. He described the agents as the best people who saved his life by taking a big risk. Trump said that tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for the post of President of the United States.
